He was incredibly thoughtful, found us a nice table, and was incredibly friendly. He immediately noticed we had a child with us and brought us coloring supplies right away. That really saved our evening! You'd never guess he was practically running the place single-handedly – ​​no stress, always smiling, and super attentive. The food was great, the location was fantastic, but Alex was definitely the highlight. We'll definitely be back! ”

“ We went to Das Brixx a few days ago with the family. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food was delicious, but what really made the evening special was the service. Even though we hadn't made a reservation and the place was packed, the waiter gave us a super friendly welcome. He was apparently working alone that evening and was constantly running around, but he still managed to find us a nice table in a corner. He was incredibly attentive and immediately brought our child a coloring book and crayons to keep them entertained. What impressed me most was how relaxed, extremely polite, and not at all flustered he was, despite all the stress. His name was Alex (although judging by his name, he's probably Greek). Absolutely fantastic! Great service, great atmosphere – we'll definitely be back. ”

“ Nice spot, very convenient if staying at the hotel. Service is pretty inattentive, the seating is in booths so it’s impossible to get a servers attention and they don’t come and check in to see if you want to order more so we just left. Mulled wine was nice. Currywurst was quite good, portions are small. Chips were fantastic and crispy. ”

In short: 5 stars :) Regarding all the negative comments: We had a table at 7 pm and ordered bread, an appetizer, and a main course, each with information about the food/ingredients and a drink recommendation – all in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. So, the timing is perfectly fine if you want to enjoy the evening together. It's not a fast-food restaurant, after all ;) ”

“ Very nice place with friendly staff. Wiener Schnitzel was ok, but the goulash soup was smth different than you get in other Austrian places. It was a mass of mashed potatoes colored with the goulash. Really weird and not expected. ”
